Quick Tips

If this is your first Adscope purchase, keep a few things in mind:

Spring Tension: You can adjust the tension of the headset for a snug but comfortable fit. To loosen, gently pull ear tubes apart; to tighten, gently squeeze together. Ear tube torque can also be modified by gently twisting in opposite directions.

Headset Orientation: Adscope binaurals are pre-angled forward 15° for a snug fit. If the sound seems quieter than expected, make sure the eartips on the binaurals are pointing toward the bridge of your nose.

Chestpiece Index: On two-sided combination models, rotate the chestpiece so the active side aligns with the laser-engraved dot on the stem. You’ll hear and feel a click when in place. This opens the active side and closes the inactive side, optimizing acoustics.

Eartips: Eartips should sit snugly, firmly, and comfortably in the ears. Two sizes of eartips, large and small, are included with your instrument. Small are mounted on the scope. Choose the size that provides a comfortable fit and a good acoustic seal.

Lifetime Warranty and Free Parts, Forever

Our lifetime warranty is available on all Adscope Cardiology and Clinician models: 600, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 608, 612, 614, 615, 618, 619, and 655.
(The Adscope 658 Electronic Stethoscope offers a lifetime warranty on the headset, and a two-year warranty on the electronic chestpiece.)

Lifetime Warranty: Warranties are a key component of a product’s value. All Adscope Cardiology and Adscope Clinician stethoscopes offer lifetime warranties, which translates to a lifetime of savings on parts, repairs, and refurbishment. Should your Adscope need attention, send it back and we’ll repair it, free of charge.

Free Parts, Forever: We’ve offered free stethoscope parts – things like eartips and diaphragms, non-chill rims and rings – since launching our Adscope line more than 25 years ago. If you need any parts, ever, our award-winning customer service team will have them in the mail quickly, cheerfully, and at no cost to you.

Complimentary Refurbishment: What if your Adscope is still going strong but starting to show its age? Send it back to us and we’ll refurbish it free of charge. This includes cleaning, new eartips and rims, and replacement of any other worn parts, including tubing. It will look and sound as good as new!
