Stethoscopes: The Value of a Comprehensive Warranty

Warranties are a key component of a product’s value, and ADC has some of the most comprehensive in the industry. All Adscope Cardiology and Adscope Clinician stethoscopes offer lifetime warranties, which translates to a lifetime of savings on parts, repairs, and refurbishment.

 

We’ve offered free stethoscope parts – things like eartips and diaphragms, non-chill rims and rings – since launching our Adscope line 25 years ago. Maybe we don’t talk about it as much as other manufacturers, but that’s because Adscopes are built to last, top to bottom. We design and manufacture with longevity in mind, not failure. Of course if you need any parts – ever – our award-winning customer service team will have them in the mail quickly, cheerfully, and at no cost to you. 

 

We can offer superior warranties because we have complete confidence in our manufacturing process. We maintain both foreign and domestic quality control facilities – something few in the industry offer. And every critical inspection, assembly, and packaging function is performed in our New York facility to ensure unsurpassed performance. Our ISO 13485:2016 certification, which covers design and manufacture of medical devices, offers independent proof of this commitment.

 

That said, things can still sometimes go awry. So for those times when your Adscope needs a little attention, we’re here. Send it back and we’ll repair it, free of charge. For a scope with a lifetime warranty, this means NEVER having to purchase a new instrument. Some competitor warranties are five to seven years or less, which means you’ll be the one who ends up paying for repairs – or a whole new scope if it’s something more serious.

 

What if your Adscope is still going strong but starting to show its age? Send it back to us and we’ll refurbish it free of charge. This includes cleaning, new eartips and rims, and replacement of any other worn parts, including tubing. It will look and sound as good as new!

 

Our lifetime warranty is available on all Adscope models from our Cardiology and Clinician series: 600, 601, 602, 603,604, 605, 606, 608, 612, 614, 615, 618, 619, and 655. The Adscope 658 Electronic Stethoscope offers a lifetime warranty on the headset, and a two-year warranty on electronics (chestpiece).
