So you've purchased your first stethoscope. You've probably played with it a bit, but now it's time to get down to business. How do you use the darn thing? Wait, how do you even wear it? Although most of our scopes and all of our professional models come with detailed instructions for use, we’d like to provide a more personal tutorial on using and wearing your new instrument.

One of the most common questions we get here at ADC is how to choose the stethoscope that’s’ right for you. In general there is no one scope that’s “right” for any particular healthcare professional. It’s more of a well-choreographed dance, one that balances performance, comfort, technology, budget, and style. In the end, it really comes down to personal choice.
