Mercury Sphygmomanometer Exchange Program
The rising concern with mercury toxicity has led many municipalities to ban use of mercury sphygmomanometers.
ADC has developed a program to help with the proper disposal of any brand of
Mercury Sphygmomanometer (desk top, wall mount, or mobile).
In exchange
for purchasing a comparable quantity of our wall (750W series)
or mobile (752M series) clock aneroid instruments, ADC will
provide a sufficient number of mailers (carton, polybag, labels)
allowing for the safe return to ADC of all mercury instruments.
For a nominal fee ADC will assume all costs for the proper disposal of the liquid
mercury and instrument.
