  • The ADC ADVANTAGE

ADC's products are designed to meet the demanding needs of today's ever changing healthcare landscape. ADC partners with the world's leading ISO 9000 subcontractors to produce components incorporating proprietary features and technologies on an exclusive basis. ADC then inspects, assembles, and packages the finished products in its Hauppauge, NY facility.

The advantages to this unique approach:

Unrivalled Quality: We've partnered with the worlds very best component manufacturers ensuring unsurpassed quality. These contractors, some with over a quarter of a century manufacturing experience, produce components on an exclusive basis to the most rigid ISO 9000 standards.

Component Consistency: Single sourced, long term contracts with our component vendors ensures day-in, day-out consistency, lot after lot, year after year. The replacement blood pressure cuff purchased today will be identical to the one found on the original equipment purchased 5 years ago.

Lower manufacturing costs: Massive production volume - among the largest in the world - combined with global sourcing and semi-automated assembly processes allows ADC products to be priced considerably lower than comparably featured competing "domestic" brands.

Superior Quality Control: By rigorously inspecting our products at every step of the manufacturing process, we ensure unmatched quality in a value priced offering. These processes include:

Unsurpassed versatility: Using both assembly line and production cells we can build a wide array of products to meet regular and spot demand or customized requirements.

Higher domestic content: We do more of the critical work in the U.S.A. to ensure superior quality products with unsurpassed performance.

Social Responsibility: As a matter of corporate policy, at least 25% of our Hauppauge, NY production department is set aside for staffing by individuals with disabilities. These workers allow ADC to keep work in the U.S. while employing an often underutilized, but highly motivated segment of the population. As of August, 2005 ADC has employees in positions ranging from quality control to production: warehousing to shipping. ADC has worked in partnership with the Suffolk County chapter of the AHRC (Association for the Help of Retarded Children) to place and train mentally retarded adults into productive employment environments.
